About the project

The BBC Chess Club required a website that could be updated frequently, informing its members of current tournaments and events.

The squarecrow had to create extensive information architectural work to present the many facets of the BBC Chess Club in a simple, comprehensible way. The result of the work was a split of to break the site into four sections - Club, Tournaments, Play, Links.

A strong visual concept of a chessboard interface was devised for the homepage.

The site features chess game players, integrated into the site by squarecrow.
